Back in November, we had an opportunity to meet the Duggar Family. That night I also purchased their latest book, so we could have it signed, of course.

A Love That Multiplies is the 2nd book written by Michelle & Jim Bob Duggar. It chronicles their struggles and triumphs with baby Josie who was born prematurely at 24 weeks along with their other day-to-day chaos. Kidding. It’s not really chaos. To them. The fact of the matter is, they have figured out how to make a large family work and they do it well.

I’ve always been a fan of the Duggar family but I’ve just recently become truly interested enough to learn more about the ins and outs of their daily life. Honestly, I’ve always been in awe of their family wondering “how do they do it?” This book gives some really good insight to help answer that question.

In this book, Jim Bob & Michelle share their philosophies, tips and tricks behind parenting, homeschooling, and marriage. It was really great to see how they have incorporated their principals and values into every part of their life. This was really appealing to me as a parent who was strongly considering homeschooling at the time. In fact, knowing that she has successfully homeschooled all of her children gave me confidence that I could somehow make it work with my one and only.

I found their story rather inspiring and I was eager to learn more. This book often referred readers back to their 1st book The Duggars: 20 and Counting, which I have since read as well. Each book challenged me, in a good way, about my own principals, values, thoughts about homeschool, and approach to life.

I’m very excited that the 4 oldest Duggar girls will be releasing a book in just 2 weeks entitled, Growing Up Duggar. It will be interesting to see the Duggar ways through the eyes of their grown daughters. You can pre-order the book now and it will ship on the release date.
